I came across this free Windows program and downloaded it to give it a try. At first sight it seems as good as, and possibly better, than WordWeb, the terms and conditions of the free version of which so upset Richard some months ago.

Note: there are two versions to download shown on the page; the current version 1.4 and version 3 which is still in development at Release Candidate 1 stage. If you are not comfortable running beta software I suggest you download the earlier version. Also note that there are no help files in v.3 RC1. There is, however, some pretty comprehensive documentation for v1.4 online which should assist, although of course some features have changed between versions.

This is a Windows-only utility, but since it is self-contained and portable, it may well run under a Windows emulator such as VMWare or WINE.

I see that it has been Geek Tested, and the download is MajorGeeks Approved.
