What about lovage lovage and artichoke? Wikipedia lists 10 perennial vegetables. And that's not counting things like dandelions.

If you have a really bad case of it, shingles. And how about sabots? Yeah, it's French, but we have no trouble saying "saboteur" for somebody who sticks their shoe in the words Hmmmm... if you stick your sabot in your bouche, are you a sui-saboteur? Confused
