Hi All, It's good joining this lovely group and i hope to see you all come the next annual convention. but my question remains how can i make it to the convention, i need a guideline and how to go about that... thanks
Thanks, but there is need for me to start preparing and this won't be achieved if i dont have enough evidence to proof to the US consulate in Nigeria that i need to attend the convention....Is there any Invitation letter i need to Have from the WORDCRAFT group..?
If you need a visa then it's not easy, I fear. The US authorities need to be convinced that you are a genuine visitor who doesn't intend to remain in the USA and who has no evil intent. They are often difficult to convince - but a letter from one of the organisers might help. Nothing from me would be any help as I am not a US citizen and I also have to go through these same checks.

Thanks Richard, But who among the organiser(s) do you think i can talk to you, i sent a letter to an administrator of wordcraft concerning this but he/she told me that i can get the info from the community as a whole....waiting for Prompt response, how is Partridge Green, hope you are enjoying every bit of breeze lol..

The information is on the board but, as the Convention is a relatively informal event, there is little that is organised in advance, apart from some hotel accommodation in Columbus.
But as you probably know, anyone visiting the USA needs the address of the accommodation where they are staying before being allowed in. The administrator should be able to give the you the details.
I won't be able to help too much since I am off to Canada first thing tomorrow and will be attending the Convention on my way back to the UK.
