I am starting a new Chat thread since the other got very long. Please join us each Saturday for our Wordcraft Chat. They start at 12:00 noon Central Time (1800 GMT), give or take, and last about an hour. You can come and go as you please, of course, and we have no specific agenda. Once in awhile we do something fun, like have a costume party, and we're up for some more suggestions along those lines. I've also thought a language type guest (such as Ammon Shea) might be fun once in awhile. We chat about whatever is on our minds and once in awhile words even enter our minds! To enter our Chats, just click "Go" and then "Chat Rooms." It's a snap. We hope to see lots of you there tomorrow!

Who's he?
And I will try to be there, although we are out all day today.

I hope the chat this Saturday went well. I had forgotten to remind everyone, and Shu and I were out of town.

I will be at the Cubs' game...but tomorrow is the regular chat. Hope y'all'll have fun without me.
[After last week, it's probably a good thing I won't be there!]

I've been trying to connect for the past 30 minutes but no joy, I fear. I suspect there's something amiss with Adobe on this system.
I'll definitely make the face-to-face chat in Columbus!

Yes, the chat kept saying, "Richard English is leaving the room." We were sure the ghost of Richard English was in the room. It was a small group, but we had a nice time. Poor Shu was suffering from the "quitting smoking blues" so he got off early.

We're chatting right now (12:00 - 1:00 pm, CDT). Come join us! Sorry I've not announced the chat recently. I've been out of town a lot and so busy and haven't been on the board much.

Sadly I won't be there tonight, nor, come to that, next weekend.
This weekend is the Dial Post steam rally and next weekend the Ardingly vintage vehicle rally. Neither finishes in time for me to be here at 1800 BST.

Unfortunately I was only able to be on the chat for 8 minutes. Jerry and Valentine were there, and we had some nice exchanges. Did anyone else join later?

me too! By the time I got there, there were Richard, zmj, valentine, Jerry, and Bob, I think.
