There's a song I heard as a little kid. I can only remember parts of it. I don't know the title or who sang it, except that it was a woman. I've searched for it and asked people, but so far I haven't any luck. Can anybody help me? Here's what I remember:

Party song heard in Kansas (before mid-1952), which means I was 7 or younger.

Do you want it?
Come on and get it.
You gotta get it
While it’s hot.

Do you want it?
Why don’t you act like it?
‘Cause I sure got a lot.
I got potatoes and onions
And string beans and garlic.
If you eat that, it won’t give you the colic.
Do you want it, baby?
Come on and get it.
You gotta get it
While it’s hot.

I think the second verse contained the lines:

The shortest thing about a hog is its grunt.
The ------------------- about me is my hash.

Of course, I didn't understand it then, but I liked it. I remember hearing it the same time I heard Vaughn Monroe's rendition of Ghost Riders in the Sky.
