My theme on Wordcraftjr this week is kangaroo words, which is a word that carries its own baby word with the same meaning within it. An example that I posted for today's word is recline. Can you come up with others without Googling?

...but kangaroo-words are supposed to define themselves, with the same meaning for both the big and the little word. Like CARPENTER.

Games Magazine had a whole page of these several months ago.

Four-million-plus hits on Google, and Richard Lederer has a column on the subject, for after you have tried and found how difficult they are to find/consruct, and maybe given up...
