We have 10+ inches of snow on the ground, and it is predicted to be -5, for a high, on Monday. Tuesday won't be much better. Therefore, we in Chicago, the Midwest generally and the Northeast are dying to get to Tahiti - the little French Polynesian island. My uncle used to vacation there, and I've always thought of it (along with the French Riviera) as being very romantic. So - that's next up for our limerick game.

I will follow Tom's suggestion and give you my pronunciation of it:

Tuh-HEE-tee. I would also accept: Tuh-HEE-dee

How quickly we forget. Revisit page 7 for July, 2008. Have we run out of places?

I tried to link but it appears beyond my limited capacity or inadequate intelligence.

If you have multiple forms of amnesia is it polynesia? Or is just a little bit micronesia?

Do you move to Tahiti if you have paraplegia?

I assume, despite Proof's reminder that Tahiti has been the subject of a previous Limerick Game, that we are still playing this one?

I see no reason not to use a place name twice.

Yes, we are still playing it, Greg. Bob, thanks for your submission. How about some more?

I'll get one in when I can spare a few minutes to think. Things are pretty chaotic right now.

Thanks, Geoff. Greg? Tom? I have 5 now, which isn't awful. They are fun!

We have 7 now. I'll give this until tomorrow, and then I'll post them. Greg, we'd love one from you.

Well, I didn't get any from Greg so I am going to post the poll tonight. Good luck limerick writers!

Sorry - couldn't get my head around this one. Made several attempts. Voting is so much easier when you are not in the comp yourself, because you are not comparing the ones you are considering with your own, just each other.
