I'll wait till the limerick game has run tis course and then you can send me daffynitions on this word: contumulation.

Anyone is eligible to enter. Just don't look up the word. Make up your own definitions to fool the other competitors.

I am not sure there is a need to wait, proof. I will send mine tonight, and thank you!

OK, let's get this one under way. I have several already but need more. Otherwise the terrorists will have won.

Still waiting for more daffynitions. Anyone can play by proposing a supposed definition for the wrd "contumation" and sending it to me in a PM.

Laggards will be whipped, unless they enjoy it, in which case I will stop.

Geoff, Kalleh, Arnie, and BobHale have all contributed. Need some more. Anyone else?

I'm awaiting an entry from Stella, which I believe is even now making its way around the Horn.

Here is the collection of daffynitions for today's word. Take your pick. Anyone can play, even those who have not contributed.

1. Two or more cloud types atop one another.

2. Multiple burials in the same grave or tomb

3. Priapism

4. The conclusion in a Lincoln/Douglas debate argumentation.

5. An inability to ejaculate

6. Holding (an object) close to the belly

7. Simultaneous bisymmetrical swelling, as in both kidneys, both ears etc.

8. Closing of the eyelids of a person who has just died

9. Overeating

10. The aggregate deposited by a flooded river

Why, it's the inability to ejaculate while priapic and while holding an object close to the belly due to bisymmetrical swelling from overeating dead people between two cloud layers. Happens to me all the time.

Oh, heck, I don't know. I'll guess #10 just because I couldn't fit it in above.

I'll take #10, please.

Ooops Almost forgot to post the results!

1. Two or more cloud types atop one another.
This came from Geoff and Bobhale failed to forecast its falsity.

2. Multiple burials in the same grave or tomb
The correct answewr, dug up by Arnie

3. Priapism
Geoff’s outstanding affliction was noted by Stella

4. The conclusion in a Lincoln/Douglas debate argumentation.
Kalleh presented this nonsensical tidbit of Amaerican history,, which no one fell for.

5. An inability to ejaculate
My submission, or lack of it

6. Holding (an object) close to the belly
Arnie’s, which no one was willing to handle.

7. Simultaneous bisymmetrical swelling, as in both kidneys, both ears etc.
BobHale attempted to afflict someone with this but nobody was susceptible.

8. Closing of the eyelids of a person who has just died
Stella added to the general morbidity with this, which attracted no takers.

9. Overeating
And she also failed to gain a vote with this one, either.

10. The aggregate deposited by a flooded river
Another falsehood from me, which swept away Geoff, Kalleh, and Bethree5.
