"As more and more of the world translates their own language into English to accommodate international guests, travelers routinely come across bad grammar and butchered English that is often quite amusing." Some examples, from Lost in Translation: Misadventures in English Abroad by Charlie Croker:
  • The manager has personally passed all the water served here.
  • Customers who find our waitresses rude ought to see the manager.
  • You are welcome to visit the cemetery where famous Russian and Soviet composers, artists and writers are buried daily except Thursdays.
The Telegraph has a rather long article, and you'll find a shorter one here.
