Apparently the whole world heard about this, though I hadn't. In Chicago a 29-year-old man from Iraq was at the airport with his mother and children. He had a penis pump (I will have to Google that!) with him, and then the story gets vague. The Chicago authorities say that, in an attempt to hide his "toy" from his mother, he claimed to have a bomb. Because of that, he facing felony disorderly conduct charges and could go to prison for 3 years.
However, Eric Zorn of the Tribune writes that the real situation might be that the gentleman had a thick, Arabic accent. When he told the security guards at the airport that he had a "pump," it likely sounded like "bumb" because there is no "p" in Arabic. Makes sense. I wonder...
