I received this from a new reader. What can our collective minds suggest?
I would like to subscribe to your site for word of the day and any material that you might be able to provide me to help build my language skills in order to write SAT exam.

I suggest your new subscriber has a long way to go before becoming an examiner and setting examinations. Smile

To whom it may concern ....

Those experts who prepare the exams for students to take are the ones who write the exams.

We believe that you meant to use the word take, instead of write.

What is your native language ?

We don't have SATs in England, so I think this is one for the Americans.

I think it is my Russian students who talk about writing their exams. Maybe it's something in their langauage.
