Thanks, Kalleh. I hd assumed it was an avian statement about our dismal housekeeping.

A group of vultures is called a wake, which fits with a murder of crows, and an excrement of pigeons.

We have a framed poster on our stairs wall (there must be a name for that) that has a huge list of collective names of animals. There are some fun ones!
