A memo circulated to all staff from the canteen at my place of employment asks people who have borrowed "table clothes" to return them.
I know what "table cloths" are but what are "table clothes"? "No man but a blockhead ever wrote except for money." Samuel Johnson. Read all about my travels around the world here. Read even more of my travel writing and poems on my weblog. My new blog - which I hope to keep more up to date than my old one. And don't miss this - my unpublished book, now complete and unabridged My new photoblog The World Through A lens |

That is funny, Bob.
For me "cloths" and "clothes" is easy. However, other types of words with es aren't, such as "envelope" vs. "envelop" or "potato" vs. "potatoes" or "tomato" vs. "tomatoes." |
