Heh! I had a mental image of CW in my head. Now, thanks to being reminded of Terry Pratchett's Librarian, I have quite a different one!

Oh dear - forming images, are we? Well, I guess I'll just dispell all myths and show you my true self. It's even my natural habitat!

Be sure to print it out BEFORE you draw on the mustache and horns! Bob's librarian bears a remarkable resemblance to one of the guys I work with, though.

Oh, Kalleh... we librarians are happy people! Every now and then I have to be The Library Nazi (Seinfeld)...

You must bring those books back to me... they can't reside under your bed forever.

When I do the Nazi bit it's usually "No, you can't keep shouting in the library." or "Did you find the security tape that shows the drug deal, yet?" Sometimes, though, it's aimed in the other direction "I've got to have 13 more computers! These people need better access!"

The regular librarians (especially the children librarians) have always been wonderful.

However, on occasion I deal with medical librarians. Now, they are a different breed. I suppose they get a lot of grief from the physicians who basically want them to do all their work, but, sheesh, they can be crabby!
