A large poster advertising the services of the job centre* caught my eye today.
Under the picture it said. For further details please ring xxxxxxxxxx. For the hearing or speech impaired this information is also available by text at xxxxxxxxx. . . . The job they were advertising? Call centre operator. "Hearing and speech impaired" call centre operators. They've certainly got the anti discrimination regulations nailed. * For US readers the job centre is a kind of Government run employment agency where you go to sign every two weeks if you are on benefit (welfare) and they try to make you take completely unsuitable jobs to get you off benefit.
