Part of the review by Publishers Weekly says "Readers intimidated by style manuals and Lynne Truss will enjoy this populist grammar reference." Intimidated by Lynne Truss? How populist can you go? (Or how dumb can you go down?)
Come on you raver, you seer of visions, Come on you painter, you piper, you prisoner, and shine! |

I haven't read it, but now you've brought it to my attention I'll keep an eye out for it
Every person you encounter, whom you interact with, is there to teach you something. Sometimes it may be years before you realize what each had to show you. Raymond E. Feist |

Maybe there should be some commas in the sentence. Readers intimidated by style manuals, and Lynne Truss, will enjoy this populist grammar reference. "No man but a blockhead ever wrote except for money." Samuel Johnson. Read all about my travels around the world here. Read even more of my travel writing and poems on my weblog. My new blog - which I hope to keep more up to date than my old one. And don't miss this - my unpublished book, coming a chapter a week |

The publisher's comments include mention of "suicidal pandas...". I don't think the publisher read Lynn Truss very closely.
