Perhaps you've all read David Denby's Great Books, but I haven't. In preparation for participating in a Blue Ribbon Panel, I read an article by Deborah Kerdeman (see my Blog entry here). She pointed me to Denby's book. So far, I have read the chapter on Shakespeare (King Lear), but I haven't read the rest of it yet. If the rest is anything like the chapter about King Lear, it is a keeper!
