Okay Jerry. Show me the path from SUP to HIGH and FLY to FOAM. I am obviously having a blond moment and can't see the connection.

HEAD

Mine needs no explanation, I'm sure.

Okay, TROSSL. .... BOARD led to SURF, (as in Surfboard) which led to SUP. Among surfer people 'sup means "is up." This means the waves are HIGHer than usual, making for more fun on the surfboard. Which led to the way the wind makes the FOAM FLY off the crests of the waves ....

That's my interpretation. Others might do it differently .....

Does this make your HEAD feel LITE ??

What's the penalty for using abbreviations, Ms Trosarello ?

You'll have to ask Arnie. He's the one who thought up this game...

Lord High Troublemaker speaking - is there a rationale for the Five-and-Under rule? I'm finding it confining, as I see you are too. I'd like to propose raising the limit to six. Any seconds? Discussion?

The penalty for using abbreviations is six slaps around the face with a wet fish.

The only reason I suggested a maximum of five letters is that we already have the four- and six-letter games and I felt we should have some sort of limit. Six is fine by me, though.
