shufitzA poem titled “Punctuation”
Punctuation
Greed
My life is full, indeed, of gloom.
I’ve naught, you see; just this small room.
I need more wealth — that’s misery.
What joys in great renown! What glee!
The mace and throne I long to own.
No crown too grand for me alone.
Contentment
My life is full, indeed!
Of gloom I’ve naught, you see.
Just this small room I need.
More wealth? That’s misery.
What joy’s in great renown?
What glee, the mace and throne?
I long to own no crown.
Too grand for me alone.

KallehLove it!
Here is a link about some more examples of
punctuation differences.
The Oxford comma is the one that stands out to me. Our organization hates those, but they are often important.

bethree5LOVE the poem - and the examples at the link. This would make a great new "Word Game"! We could post some brainstorms at this thread, then make it a running game if it turns catches on...?

shufitzHI, B3. Here’s a personal favorite of mine.
Triolet, by Paul Thomas Gilbert
“I love you, my lord!"
Was all that she said,
What a dissonant chord,
"I love you, my lord!"
Ah! how I abhorred
That sarcastic maid!
"I love
you? My
Lord! Was all that she said.
