KallehPerfect
What is your definition of "perfect?" I have a blog post on the
subject. People seem to have different views of it, and even different ideas as to whether it's a good concept. That is, if one is a perfectionist, it takes forever to get things done. What are some of your ideas on the subject?

KallehInterestingly, when looking up "perfect" online, there are a lot of articles about "perfect" being just "good enough." I think, for example, a perfectionist can actually be one who makes the product, piece of art, work...whatever, worse than that of one who is not so inclined. I know people who are perfectionists. Nothing gets done. The "perfect" becomes the "nothing." Many PhD students never graduate, for example, because they want the "best" study.
Yet, of course, some perfectionists are truly that.

<Proofreader>It should be "without a perceptible flaw" but nothing ever reaches that level of perfection (except my limericks).

KallehDo you see "perfectionist" as a pejorative term? I think it is, but I am not sure it always has been.
