KallehI'm sorry, Myth. Let's give them a little more time than normal. We've been a bit slow lately...and I hope that ends soon!

Myth JelliesOkay, here goes.
First, the twists. There are
two correct definitions in the list below, and you have to pick them both. I will warn you that one of you might have inadvertantly come close enough to a real definition to qualify as one of the real definitions. Here are your choices.
1: A 2 beat gait of a horse in juvenile horseback riding, similar to a canter.
2: A muzzle used in dog racing.
3: The raised rear part of a saddle.
4: A corner, segment, or portion.
5: A long skirt, popular with well-to-do women in fourteenth century Europe, slashed at the front to reveal the petticoat, which would usually be in a contrasting color.
6: A wooden comb used in weaving with an inkle loom.
7: To create ornate patterns in leather using needles and natural dyes.
8: The bar that mounts the maidens, flyer, bobbin, and tension knob on a spinning wheel; also called the Mother-Of-All.
9: A jig used in constructing the back of a wooden chair.
10: A lighted wax illumination to a celebration of Gregorian chants.
Remember, you have to select two choices as correct definitions.

Myth JelliesSorry, the tax thing reared its ugly head. Sorry also about the red herring with regard to someone's answer maybe being close enough to the truth. I just didn't want anyone taking anything for granted
1: A 2 beat gait of a horse in juvenile horseback riding, similar to a canter.
1: A 2 beat gait of a horse in juvenile horseback riding, similar to a canter. No one fell for TrossL's horsing around.
2: A muzzle used in dog racing. BobH's definition was dogged.
3: The raised rear part of a saddle. Arnie, TrossL, and Jo got this correct and got both of them right.
4: A corner, segment, or portion. One of the correct answers gotten by Kalleh, Bob H, Arnie, Jo, and TrossL
5: A long skirt, popular with well-to-do women in fourteenth century Europe, slashed at the front to reveal the petticoat, which would usually be in a contrasting color. Arnie pulled the fabric over Bob H's eyes.
6: A wooden comb used in weaving with an inkle loom. Caterwauller fooled himself (no points for that) as well as Wordmatic and Kalleh
7: To create ornate patterns in leather using needles and natural dyes.
7: To create ornate patterns in leather using needles and natural dyes. Jo tattooed Caterwauller
8: The bar that mounts the maidens, flyer, bobbin, and tension knob on a spinning wheel; also called the Mother-Of-All. Kalleh took Wordmatic for a spin.
9: A jig used in constructing the back of a wooden chair. No one danced to Myth's jig
10: A lighted wax illumination to a celebration of Gregorian chants. Bob K's offering was refused.
