I'm itching for another limerick game! Hab, if you're busy, I am happy to start the next game for you...Just give me the name of a place.

Okay, let’s do that.

It’s overcast and threatening to snow again, and that’s getting tiresome. Why don’t we think of someplace warmer and comfy, say like … MIAMI ?

Miami was a game in 2008.

That's okay. We are a new group with much more creative experience. Wink

I agree, this weather is tiresome and I want to go to Miami!

On to coming up with a limerick now...

Despite its association with Florida, the Miami were an indigenous people from around here.

It is unlikely that any of them ever saw a dolphin.

Isn't there even a college named "Miami of Ohio"?

"Miami University (also referred to as Miami of Ohio or simply Miami) ..."

Yes! Miami of Ohio! Many of our New Trier graduates head there.

We need more submissions, please. It's a fun rhyme!

My one viable neuron has been occupied and caan't devote itself to rhyme right now. I'll submit something eventually.

Hmmmmm... I wonder how many colors are in "occu-pied?" https://www.google.com/imgres?...8KHT2VBJ4Q_B0IxAEwCg

If I can send one in with a brain recently bleeding, you can, too. I actually wrote it to help my poor brain. I got ice cream today at the nursing home. It really tasted good to me Big Grin

It didn't cause brain freeze? Big Grin

Sounds good! I think I'll go have some too!

PS: I have, finally, sent one in.

Has everyone who wants to posted a limerick? I had told Hab I'd post them for him since he has had so many lately. If you have one, please send it to me by tomorrow evening because I'll post them then.

Thanks everyone!

Hab's life has calmed down a bit so he will be doing the posting. I probably shouldn't vote since I've seen them all by now.

Good luck, everyone! Smile

Only trouble is we have a grand total of three-and-two-halves. More would be nicer. I'll declare that at nearly ten years since the last time we used this destination, the Statute of Limitations has expired.

And I'd give it until Friday evening before posting what I have (today is Tuesday); that way we can use the weekend to consider the candidates and then vote.

But first you have to write them. Pretty please?

I'm trying to please, but what I've sent thus far ain't pretty! Confused

Up to five now. LAST CALL! I'll post tomorrow evening, unless the expected Nor'easter takes the power out...

March comes in like a politician (Lots of wind and a snow job) and goes out like a light (The power's still out)
