CRCS*85 years ago, known as "flash powder;" very small spores of the Lycopodium club moss that burned VERY rapidly when ignited. (Also an ingredient in homeopathic remedies. Knowing the word I looked up the definiton to verify, and found to my surprise that the "yellow" part I thought I had made up was actually true!)
