2. A portable couch used by the Romans as a kind of sedan chair.
3. A complex system of voting used in the middle ages among noblemen.
4. A pair of convex and concave lens in a high-powered telescope.
5. A method for studying epistemological development, beliefs and relativism.

7. Jerky eye movements, especially while reading.
