This is taking too long to load, so I'm going to renew it here with some semblance of the last few posts...

MONTEZUMA (Why, who wanted revenge?)

EQUIVCLRISK
SONOFICUN

- two novels, each one word

Hint: by the author of MCI PORN TYCOON (one word again)
Hmm. Now that I look of it, maybe the hint goes in the other direction...?

Quicksilver
Confusion

and
Cryptonomicon (This I must look up!)
all by Neal Stephenson

[Just for the record, I had gotten Oklahoma waaaaay up there. However, I didn't post it because I mistakenly thought we weren't doing proper names.]

Precisely. And, while Cryptonomicon was published first, Quicksilver and The Confusion are chronologiclaly earlier, and comprise the first two-thirds of what Stephenson calls the
"Q-BOREAU GLORY-IT"- two seven-letter words, no hyphens

And if you are going actually to _read_ Cryptonomicon after looking at Stephenson's site, then a) you're likely to enjoy it and b) you'll probably enjoy it even more if you read Robert Harris's Enigma first!

(Yes, yes, Enigma is an anagram of gamine, and others. The book is named Enigma.)
