Who was chicken and who wasn't about Chicken
Not everybody checkened out and submitted limericks

Here they are:

1:
I was writing a novel ‘bout Chicken,
But the plot? Couldn’t get it to thicken,
And the characters tell
How they just went to — well,
That’s my story and to it I’m stickin’ !

2
I have a small farmstand in Chicken
The fruit that I sell, I'm still pickin'.
With creative accounting
My fortune is mounting
(I couldn't have done it on Quicken® !)

3
My wife became pregnant in Chicken
And promptly her waistline did thicken
It's Hey diddle diddle
She swelled in the middle
(That happens to women who quicken!)

4

The good folk in Alaska when pickin’
A name for their town but were stickin’
On the spelling of Ptarmigan
or Tarmigan or Tarmiggen,
And said “F*** it, let’s just call it Chicken”.

5
The mere sight of the woman in Chicken
Made my pulse and my heart start to quicken
I started to drool
Like a love-struck fool
But I really was only lust-stricken

6
I once met a young woman in Chicken
And the sight of her made my heart quicken
She was a beauty
With a great booty
Just the kind I wished I was lickin’

7
There was once a young woman in Chicken
The mere sight of her made my heart quicken
I was horny as hell
For this sweet young belle
And the thought of her made my dick thicken

8
Don't ever fly into Chicken
Miasmic air's sure to sicken
The women are mean
The men are obscene
And cuisine? It's not finger lickin'

9
There was a young fellow from Chicken
Who got quite an unmerciful lickin'
And the cause of his strife
Was another man's wife
In flagrante delicto, his dickin

Who did the chicken?

Haberdasher whote 1,2, and three IMHO his were all very clever.

Bob wrote #4, which I consider the funniest - and most historically likely.

Five, six and seven were Tinman's - and he said he couldn't think of any! Ha!

8 and 9 were mine.

Shall we continue to try and recusitate this moribund thread, or is it time to sayhttps://www.google.com/search?...1745&bih=866&dpr=1.1

When I read No. 9, I thought it might have come from Shufitz. (I think that's a compliment!)

To whom? Roll Eyes Despite my entreaties, appeals, pleas, requests, sues, supplications, etc, neither Shufitz nor Kalleh saw fit to respond. I think they were up a river in Pennsayvania that destroys motivation and desire, Lakawanna. Now, do YOU wanna? At this point I don't.
