A TV ad running, over here, at the moment for a bank features the line
"We guarantee you'll never get less than 3.75% for the first twelve months."
Personally I find this an interesting use of the word "never".

KallehI do, too, Bob. While I see what they mean, I'd think the word would be "not." I wonder why they chose "never."

goofyIt seems similar to the OED Online's sense 1b: with a limiting word like
after, before, since, yet etc. As in "She never minded it untill 8 a clocke on sabbath morning."
