A WC gathering? If you'll recall, it was discussed before Ohio was decided upon. Besides, the Portland Blues Festival coincides with the Portland Brews Festival, so I don't want to end up crying in my beer! http://www.waterfrontbluesfest.com/

I have heard that Portland is one of the best US cities for beer - so yes, it would be a good place for a gathering.
