I found this nugget of information in my newspaper today. Apparently the award-winning author Salman Rushdie was beaten at Scrabble by none other than Kylie Minogue recently. "Rushdie's friend Kathy Lette said that 'Unfortunately, he didn't take it [the defeat] very well.'"
