Caterwaullermnemonic devices
I need to create a good mnemonic device for the 6 early literacy skills that I'm trying to teach people about. Can you all help with this? Here are the skills - they can be in any order:
Phonemic Awareness
Vocabulary
Narrative Skills
Print Motivation
Print Awareness
Letter Knowledge
Any device you can come up with would be helpful!

It seems to me that 'p' is not going to be much help when three of the items begin with 'p', and two with 'pr'. How about something like this: A little girl wants to talk to her grandmother Victora. She pleads, "
Aw mom;
Let's
phone nana
Vicky!"
aw = AWareness
mo = MOtivation
let = LETter
phone = PHONEmes
na = NArrative
ViC = VoCabulary
