Happy anniversary, Kalleh!
If an anniversary can be counted as 100 posts on this board, Kalleh just celebrated her sixth. Well done, K.!

Plus Morgan isn't far behind with 554.

This post marks my second anniversary here and, yes, I am expecting presents!

And what kind of presents are you expecting? Maybe a little cheese? Or how about some fine Budweiser! razz

Wait until you find out how much a service can cost you and you might be less keen! Mine's in right now for its annual service and MOT (a UK roadworthiness test). I just hope they don't find anything wrong with it - I had to have the air-conditioning overhauled last summer and it cost me 2000 pounds sterling!

Still, CJ, with 3 kids in college I am lucky to have my Honda Accord. A Rolls-Royce sounds so romantic and luxurious. Perhaps someday....

No, I can't buy that. Anniversary refers to something that occurs once a year. You'll have to find another word for "100 posts". I'm sure you can come up with something. Let me rephrase that. I'm sure you can coin a word meaning "100 posts". Then maybe you can have a present.

I sometimes see references to phrases such as "sixth-month anniversary". Those are also incorrect.

Do you like 'centipostum', Kalleh? Maybe you can get your present from tinman now!

I've celebrated only one centipostum so far. Maybe when I celebrate my second one we can put a gate in between them! razz

There has to be some pun about getting it behind you -- "posterior" -- here.
