KallehFour more words out the door...
This author, in the
NYT, thinks four more words are seeing their last days:
average
later
local
privacy
He has a point about a few of them (particularly
later and
local to me).

zmježdI think op eds need to be replaced with something more entertaining. I am truly tired of these lexical obits.
Garrison Keillor keeps "average" alive since all the kids in Lake Woebegone are above it.
Later and local? Bah! I use them often. But privacy? Well, look what it says in my signature line!

<Proofreader> Here is a chance to use six before they go out of existence.

KallehThanks for that link, Goofy. Language Log always puts things into perspective.
Proof, those 6 word messages remind me of Haikus. You really can't waste your words with those either.
