<Proofreader>I'm shocked, shocked, i tell you
I've believed a lie all these years. From he HuffPost:
Timmy, Lassie's second owner in the series, got into a lot of trouble during 7 seasons, including getting trapped in a mine, almost getting shot and being threatened by an escaped elephant, but Timmy himself, actor Jon Provost, revealed in his autobiography that he was never trapped in a well.
Additionally, in 17 season's of the show,
the only character to fall down a well was Lassie.
So now, do we have to change it to, "Timmy, did Lassie fall in the well?"

GeoffShocked? Turn off the electricity before making love to that light socket.

KallehI had to read a bit about Lassie to see what you mean. Apparently he fell into abandoned mine shafts, off cliffs, into rivers, lakes and quicksand, but never into a
well. It became a catchphrase after the show's cancellation, but I hadn't heard it.

GeoffHere's the real star of the show:

Which is a long tradition in theater. The problem was finding a male dog that would dress in drag.

GeoffIf you yell, "Lassie" in Sweden everyone named Lars answers.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lars Thus when Swedish actress Lena Olin calls her husband, it does not imply that he's a dog, despite his making a film caled, "My Life as A Dog."

<Proofreader>Just saw a story about a man arrested for making love to the hole in a patio table. The funny part was the announcer asking if itt was "fornication."

GeoffNo, it was for fun. When golfers do it out on the course it's forenication.
