moutza
Have you ever heard of the word moutza. I first saw it today when a reporter described insults from both the Cubs and Sox fans in Chicago. Apparently it has Greek origins and is a traditional gesture with fingers extended to mean an insult, such as "Curse you!"

Have you heard of the gesture or seen the word used? It was used in a Tribune article.

Read the link. Finally, I know what "talk to the hand" means. I'm a bit slow, it seems. I thought they were doing the "high five" thing.

"Talk to the hand" is equivalent to gving someone the finger.

There are five fingers. Does that suggest gang rape?
