Tattoos (warning: this has a rude phrase)
We saw an interesting tattoo on a woman over the weekend (yes, at the library). It was on her upper arm.

"I have the pussy so I'm the boss."

Anyone else see interesting tattoos lately?

Oh...here I go again with my literalism or my density or something. I only read the title here as "Tattoos," so when I read it, I thought you meant that you have a cat so you are the boss. Roll Eyes Then I saw your parentheses in the subject and figured it out. Big Grin

A friend saw (also in Columbus) recently a young man in a grocery store wearing a t-shirt that said that...ummmmm...how shall I...that because of what he had, he is the boss. Equally offensive, I would say.

I wonder if they're a couple?

At least the man only wears it on some days; the woman seen by CW has it indelibly written on her arm!

I thought you meant that you have a cat so you are the boss.

It has been my observation that people who own cats are usually ruled by them.

Sunflower's cats try to think that way, BUT, they know who feeds them, and s/he who controls the grub rules! Big Grin

Cats aren't dumb. They'll let you think you're the boss when it benefits their needs.

No doubt about it; cats are the boss. Our cat gives our dog a sneer and then parades over to her food and starts eating. The dog? She just looks all whiney. Yet, the dog is probably about 4 times as big as the cat.

Jennifer had something to say on this subject http://www.write101.com/W.Tips182.htm

Scroll to the bottom for the posting and then you will realise, as do most men, why women are in charge.

A man without a wife is incomplete. Then he's finished.

Are you seriously telling me 'pussy' doesn't refer to cats??

RE - on this one, you and I agree. Nothing to do with cats.

Did anyone bother to read my post above, right under CW's opening post? Geez! Nobody is thinking this is about felines; we just got off-subject, which is highly unlike us of course. Wink

A slight digression:

Please punctuate the following sentence:

A woman without her man is lost

I know, of course, the two common ways to punctuate this to give opposite meanings but have you considered the slightly more Shakespearean possibility of a lady arriving unexpectedly and lacking a servant?

A woman without!
Her man is lost.

Shakespeare, huh? Well, McBeth's wife hollered, "Unsex me," and we know where following her lead led McBeth! He landed right on his McDuff!

A woman...without her, man is lost.

Nah, it's punctuated right with no punctuation, but the last word is spelled wrong. It's "A woman without a man is lust."

No!
A woman without; her man[hood] is lost.
It clearly refers to a trans-sexual individual.

And eventually, the bicycle will go swimming and the fish will be rolling down the road. The County Council has a lot to answer for.
