I referred to this book in another thread. Perhaps you've all read it already, but if not, I highly recommend it. Markus Zusak is the author. It is a good book, but also intriguing for word lovers because there is a lot of discussion of words, particularly German words (it takes place during WWII). For example, as mentioned in the untermensch thread, the word saumensch (a derogatory word about women) is used a lot. Also, I really like this definition of "not leaving," which the author says is not found in the dictionary: An act of trust and love, often deciphered by children."
