Citation for a long word
Occasional reader, first time poster... I have a blog discussing the longest words in English and one of them, Ornicopytheobibliopsychocrystarroscioaerogenethliometeoroaustrohieroanthropoichthyopyrosiderochpnomyoalectryoophiobotanopegohydrorhabdocrithoaleuroalphitohalomolybdoclerobeloaxinocoscinodactyliogeolithopessopsephocatoptrotephraoneirochyroonychodactyloarithstichooxogeloscogastrogyrocerobletonooenoscapulinaniac, seems to have sources, but I cannot find any myself. Does anyone here know if this word was actually ever published?

My blog is at http://longestwords.wordpress.com/

One would imagine that word would be a chapter in itself.

I've no idea; it looks like a series of words all mashed together. I'd imagine it was invented as a exercise and then ignored.

Any idea what it's supposed to mean?

EDIT: Never mind. I've just read what you say about it in your blog.

Build a man a fire and he's warm for a day. Set a man on fire and he's warm for the rest of his life.
