Sadly I fear that this is a forlorn hope. There are few "truths" about that are not disputed by at least a few people.

Here's what one of the the Flat Earth Societies have to say on their website: "...But why? Why do we say the Earth is flat, when the vast majority says otherwise? Because we know the truth...."

Notice that they, and only they, know the true truth; all other truths are untruths.

Mind you, it's difficult sometimes to distinguish truth from spoof :-)

Those comments appear in a lot of entries. You probably just haven't come across them before. Anyone can question the authenticity of entries and new entries are very often flagged requesting authorities.
