A new word
Stewart (who occasionally posts here as Oscar) has told me of a new word he has recently come across:

Foreploy (n): Any misrepresentation about yourself for the purpose of getting laid.

Naturally I have no understanding of the concept whereof he speaks.

Is it actually a new word, or is it one of those joke words made up for humorous effect? Certainly the concept has been around for thousands of years.

Well, certainly it can't predate the English term foreplay. How old is that word?
