In the limerick thread, Greg called Bob a "Pom." I had not heard it before, though no one seemed to question it. Are Americans here familiar with the word? Here is a

GeoffI've more often heard "Pommie," but essentially the same. Yes, I've certainly heard it.

KallehSo, when you've heard "Pommie," what did it mean? Is it just someone from the UK? Is it only used by someone from Australia?

BobHaleAs far as I know it's used exclusively by Australians to refer to British.

GeoffFriends? Naw, I just watch a lot of Aussie videos. Example:
