Welcome, Halal! I'm interested in how you selected your name.
I haven't heard the term, but it makes sense. However, my observation often has been that speaking truth to power results in job termination.

Thanks Proofreader. I guess thats it all right.
Kelleh I got my name from my real name, Harold and last name, Alexander. Just shortened them. I found out that halal is also an Arab word meaning what kosher means if your Jewish. Can someone here tell me where the Arabs got that word?
Yeah, telling a boss how the cow ate the cabbage can get you fired. But sometimes its worth it.

Arabic حلال ḥalāl means "permissible".
Build a man a fire and he's warm for a day. Set a man on fire and he's warm for the rest of his life.

Wow, arnie. Where did you get those letters? Do you know how it's pronounced? Halal, at least you know your permissible!
ḥalāl: the /ḥ/ is pronounced like a German "ch" or the "h" in Hannukah. This message has been edited. Last edited by: zmježd,
