Here is the Archive of Cool Words of the Week. This has some good words, but also some very common ones (like morbidity). She says this is because some have a secondary definition or an odd origin. Very strange that they aren't alphabetized.
Jerry, she has "lanai!" Shu always likes the word "zarf," and she has that. However, I don't see "epicaricacy."
I found her entry for "geek" interesting: "(gheek) n. a carnival performer often billed as a wild man, whose act usually includes biting the head off a live chicken or snake [prob. from English dial. geek, geck "fool," from Low German geck]."
I'm amazed! I had no idea Geek went so far back. This article in the Wiki is fascinating! Perhaps I should clarify my profile . . . .
