As you know, along with Geoff, Ken and Kim, I started this place. Geoff and I have probably been the most loyal. Ken (Shu, and a few others such as Wordcrafter and one of my favorites, Hic) put a lot of effort into this forum, but has pulled back considerably, for various reasons.
So - for a long time I'd go crazy when it would slow down here. But I've learned two things. First, it will come back. Secondly, forums aren't what they used to be, and it likely won't be what it once was. But that's okay. Let's give it what we can and enjoy it here.
And thanks to everyone for your intelligent, clever and often challenging posts. You are the best!

Yes, getting out tomorrow after I get back from dialysis, but having a friend coming to help take things home today, probably including my computer. I will miss a few people here. I met a nurse I like a lot. She's a travelling nurse. Got her a book and I might go through and pick her out another one. She is the spitting image of a young Laura Linney. She's not from around here and you can tell. Anyway, I should go and do a few things before they catch me for rehab. Today is my last day of rehab here.

I love Quora. I'm only signed up for Q's on lit/langs, & PreK. I was getting bored w/it so I added the Fr-spkg & Sp-spkg forums. Not only is it great practice for me, I find they have more interesting conversations on lit/langs.
I'm not a 'navigator' tho. I work it thro email cuz I hate having apps eat up the storage on my antique iPad.
