Thanks, several days late, for all those birthday wishes! We were out of town visiting family and for a cousin's son's bar mitzvah. On my birthday, I was surrounded by my brother, his wife, sons, their wives and nine great nieces and nephews! Got lots of practice (for grandparenthood) holding the newest baby. What a hoot! Thanks again, and I have vowed to myself that I won't forget the May birthdays. Put 'em on your calendar: May 4, TrossL, and May 20, Duncan Howell.

Well, thank you! I am in Vermont at a conference, and my very sweet husband had some flowers delivered to my room. It's beautiful here.
