I thought we had a thread where we discussed IT words, but if we do, it's buried in the 6500 citations that come up when I search for "IT words."

So...what are some of your favorite IT words? Just this morning as I came to my office having 800 spam emails, I learned of the word backscatter. I am told it is a particular kind of spam that comes in high volume for an hour at a time. The spammer "spoofs" fakes of your email address, making it look like you actually sent out these messages and they are coming back to you as undeliverable. What a pain they are, and I am told there is no recourse. The value of them must be to irritate others.

Other IT words? I know there are lots, but how about some of the newer ones?
