I read an article in the Chicago Tribune today about Vance Bourjaily's death. He was the columnist's (Patrick Reardon's) favorite author, and Reardon described the impact Bourjaily has had on his life. Link Reardon says, "...I have always found in Bourjaily a man who was looking at the same world that I see." That struck a nerve with me. I think the same way about authors I like.
I haven't read Bourjaily's books; have you? Perhaps I should give them a try.
