I remember that, when the OEDILF was just starting, we discussed the idea of calling it "The Oxford English Dictionary in Limerick Form"; I'm not sure if CJ got warned off by the OUP or if he decided it might be wisest to substitute "Omnificent" for "Oxford" to pre-empt lawsuits. These guys seem to have decided to take the risk. I wonder if OUP know about the site?

Hey, Arnie, thanks for posting this fun link (The Oxford English Fictionary)! I tried to get one on there, but no luck so far. It does seem like a great game idea. We could do it the same way we do limericks: just vote for whichever defiition you like the best.
My first submission was "ambroglio". Any takers?
