How about posting a few blogs of interest here? I don't think we have any thread about that, do we? We have one about blog articles, but not fun/interesting blogs.

We've mentioned mental floss here before, and here is a link to it.

Ahem "...but not a thread about fun interesting blogs.

Of course we've mentioned language blogs from time to time, but what others do you like?

The simplest way to follow blogs online in a browser is to use Google Reader. It's simple to set up and if necessary you can get started by using an OPML file to import blogs.

Yes, but you need to know what those blogs are, right? That's what I thought we could post here from time to time.

I like the idea, Kalleh. I know nothing about how to find blogs that might interest me, the blogosphere seems to big to find my way around.

Can't think of where to ask this or if it's appropriate but I'd also love to know of good free online word games, if any here are so inclined. I've found a couple in the months since my favorite daily puzzle was discontinued (writer's blox on facebook) & wonder if there are other good ones. 'Good' for me means challenging, but not in a 'beat-the-clock' sense.

One thing you can do is use Google Reader's "Browse for stuff" in the left-hand column, under "All items". There are hundreds of "feed bundles" on all sorts of subjects that you can use as a start. You can always delete individual feeds if necessary.

In the same area you can also search for individual blogs by keyword to add to Reader and look through Google's recommendations based on what it knows about you. At the beginning, if you haven't added many feeds yet, that won't be very useful, but it becomes better as time goes on.
