Since nobody's started a new Bluffing Game, I'll jump in. What do you think a surfer's knot is? PM your daffynitions.

The first submission was correct, so no reason to continue. Who's got a more obscure word? Let's keep this game going!

Hmmm. I thought we submitted made up definitions even if we know the real one. Which I don't. As this particular game isn't continuing what is the definition? "No man but a blockhead ever wrote except for money." Samuel Johnson.

...or just say “Too close to the real meaning; send in another!”

OK, we'll continue, but we DO need more participants. Where's Kalleh? Where's Bethree5? Whee are the newer members?

Any other daffynitions, or shall I post the few I have?

I'd just go with the ones you have. "No man but a blockhead ever wrote except for money." Samuel Johnson.

OK, here we go: 1. The pain in the back of your neck from too much time on the internet. 2. Getting married on the beach. 3. A wipeout due to an unexpected cross current 4. A quick-release tie so the eager boarder wastes a minimum of time getting the board off the roof-rack and into the surf 5. Surfer slang for adequate wave speed 6. Lumps, sometimes but not always painful, that form on anterior aspect of the tibias (the front of the knees) after months to years of kneeling on the board paddling out to catch the next wave 7. Epididymitis caused by frequent blows to the groin when losing a surfboard. Also called surfer's nuts One of them is closest to correct. Which is it?

I like 2. Runner-up: 5. More of them made me smile this go-'round than often !

Sounds too obvious but I'll try 4 "No man but a blockhead ever wrote except for money." Samuel Johnson.

1, 2 and 3 were Bob's; 4 was Hab's, as was the mostly correct definition, #6. 5 and 7 were mine.
