I have just received a FB friend request from Alan Palmer (Arnie) who as we know passed away last year. Looking at his real profile it seems that I am not the only one. The request came from a duplicate profile which had no posts. It just shows that you need to be careful when accepting friend requests.

I don't accept anyone on FB whom I don't know, though in this case, I guess it could be a scam because you'd know him but might not know he died.
I always felt bad about arnie. Somehow we must have annoyed him. I asked him that several times, but he just said we didn't. Still, he had been an administrator and really supportive of our place. I will always wonder what happened.
